Well, first things first, things have improved since my last post! My Nan seems to be much, much better (much more like her old self). It's still hard that she has to be in a home, but she does seem to be enjoying it (as much as you can enjoy somewhere like that!). In some ways it must be good to have the opportunity to go out to different places and do stuff with other people, after being stuck at home alone for so long.

Also since my last post, we had double glazed doors fitted. I don't want to say much about it, suffice to say it didn't go as well as it could have. I've complained and they're going to come back and try to sort it out. I could moan about them, but if they come and sort it all out I'll probably be more forgiving! So perhaps I will talk more about doors in the future. ;)

We went to see Jake and Elwood and the Black Rhino Band at the Athena in Leicester. They were really good! Better than I expected, probably. The musicians were superb and the 'Jake' and 'Elwood' impersonators were funny (and good singers) I wasn't sure that Jake was totally in character but it was entertaining. I recommend them for a good night out! They do a big Christmas show every year, might be fun to go to that...

That's probably about it really, have done a bit of gardening this weekend, stuff like that. Watched the Spanish GP - hooray for Jenson Button! So... yeah. :)
