Kind of fell off the face of the Earth for a while there, developed some horrible germy cold type thing towards the end of the week. Friday the head pain reached pretty much migraine proportions, managed to beg for painkillers before burying my head under the covers. I've used a lot of tissues up. I do feel a bit more energetic now, so hopefully it's on its way out.

Due to my germs I didn't manage to watch Eurovision with friends as planned. In the end I watched the stream on the official website with the commentary from Radio 2. I have to admit I am watching it again via the High Def recording I made last night, just in case I missed something. ;)

I did vote for Norway, along with the rest of Europe, so it must have been alright. Didn't seem like a particularly brilliant year, quality wise, though last year was pretty bad too. My top three were:

1. Norway

2. Ukraine - I'm a sucka for that oompa sound

3. Moldova - okay, it's more oompa stuff, woo!

I guess the effort the UK put in paid off, with the fifth place finish, though it's really not my cup of tea. Seems to go on a bit. But there you go. :)
