Wow, lots more snow arrived! The buses weren't running so I haven't made it to work. Instead I've done something I can't actually do at work, which is try some stuff with Google Earth. We are allowed to have it installed on PCs now, which is good, but I haven't really tried doing anything with it. I had a bit of a mess around trying to see what sorts of things it can do, and I've set up a test kml file with some info about historic buildings in Leicester (it links to photos I've uploaded to Flickr). So if you want to try it, it's here!
I might not work all day, though. If I thought I could justify messing around with my photos any more I'd add more to my kml layer. But it was only supposed to be a test. :)
