Definitely seems to have become a lot more wintry lately. We were driving back from Nottingham on Sunday and there was lots of snow at Six Hills! Wow. But by the time we were back in Leicester it was just rainy, and it's a lot milder than it was last week. But here I am, talking about the weather in that very British way that we all do. Ho hum.
Since I blogged last,
Ali moved house! She moved further down the road we both live on, so now she's even closer to us than she used to be! D'oh. (Hehe.) My brother John came up for the week to help her move, he did many useful DIY tasks such as build flatpack furniture and fit locks and mend windows. Hooray!
It's a very nice house, very big. Rex the dog likes it, I think.
Apart from that I haven't done much that I can remember being exciting. I went to a sale at library HQ and bought quite a few CDs and a couple of books, that was fairly exciting. And we've been preparing for our holiday, we bought two big wheelie cases. Not sure about America, hopefully it will be fun. I've never been abroad and it's quite a long flight. At least it's only the east coast!
Our recycling box seems to have gone missing, I think someone must have stolen it. Boo! I hope the council will reply to my e-mail and let us have another one. How am I supposed to recycle without my box? Terrible.
I can't really think of a lot to say. Maybe I'll stop rambling. I bet no-one wants to read about my recycling box trauma anyway. :)
