You know, now I have my digital camera (and a lovely case and rechargable batteries I bought on eBay) I can take pictures of things to show you all! Not that anyone looks on here. Maybe I should start doing that website I thought of ages ago, the interesting buildings of Leicester one. If I ever have time. :)
Alternatively, I could take pictures of Hovis the hamster. Woo!
It looks like we could be moving as soon as the end of August into our new house! Phil and Emma (whose house we're buying) have had their offer accepted and that's their rough moving date. The house they're buying is empty, you see. Scary. We'll have to get our proof of identity documents sent off to the solicitor ASAP.
Another exciting eBay purchase arrived today after over two weeks of waiting (it was from Russia... from someone called Igor, wow) - a copy of
The Servant's album. I raved about them ages ago. You probably don't remember. Anyway, I bought it from Igor because apparently Russian copies are quite common and UK copies are like gold dust! Even if someone like Amazon did have it in stock it would have cost more, and mine has a lovely Russian copyright notice on the back. So, yay!
And
Chris Moyles has started doing a podcast (best of his Radio 1 show), so I've told my Ipod (I feel like such a sheep, but Rob bought it, I've just appropriated it) to download it. Excellent.
That's about it for now. My brother and parents are coming to visit, they should be here within the hour, so that'll be fun. :D
Bye!
