I guess things aren't going so well lately... We were burgled! They bashed in the door, we had to have a new one. They took Greg (the nice AJP laptop/desktop replacement), a minidisc player, my digital camera, Rob's work PDA, an old broken PDA, the silver PS2 my brother got us for our wedding present, along with all the games... bad. It was kind of worse that they managed to get in though. I will miss my camera though, it cost me £300 when I bought it, and I was only earning £500 or so a month. It was expensive three years ago. Still wouldn't be cheap.

Hmm, well, we brought Brian out of retirement, and he's serving as my laptop computer for the moment. Thankfully they didn't take Rob's new desktop PC, or the one that's been knocking around here ages waiting for Rob to mend it. We have my brother's PC here now as well, since it had an accident (he now thinks surge proof extension leads are a brilliant idea). And I have my old DVD player. Not that we can play everything on that. Wouldn't play our wedding DVD or one of the Pretender ones. Old DVD players have some compatibility issues.

Apart from all the burglar hassles (police visits, new door etc) I haven't had a very exciting time. Mum came to visit for a couple of nights, which was really good. Helped me sort things out a bit. I've dusted and done a lot of ironing, and finished my essay for next Saturday. The insurance people come tomorrow. Hopefully we'll be okay and be able to replace the stuff that was taken...
