Well, I should probably just blog. I keep thinking I should write about the wedding, but it was a month ago, and do you really care? I mean, it's even possible you were there, in which case you know what it was like. You can tell it wasn't normal from the fact I arrived in a Subaru Impreza (done up in WRC paint), had a dark red velvet medieval dress, and Rob had a highwayman-esque outfit, I walked in to Madness and out to The Darkness (played by the brilliant rock outfit that's made up of Emmaus people), we left in an ancient Scammell truck, and had a pirate themed wedding reception at the Museum of Power! It was very odd, and very fun.
Ali was a great best person - she did her speech from inside a lego pirate man outfit and it still brought me close to tears. And
Mark wasn't a bad usher, either. :)
There are pictures
HERE.
We went to a very traditional and scary wedding yesterday. I had to play bass guitar. I got a bottle of wine for doing it, though I don't actually drink wine... oh well.
In the month that's passed since the wedding, we've moved me into the flat, and started to try and figure out how to live together. The flat's pretty full of stuff, but we did get everything in without it looking too crammed. Which is good.
Apart from Rob related things, I'm still doing the planning archaeology job. Don't know how long for, I had a contract extension but it's all very uncertain. I hate uncertainty.
That's all I can think of for now then. I will try and blog more often.
I have been mostly.... READING: inca gold (clive cussler) / WATCHING: neighbours (bbc 1); stargate (sky 1) / PLAYING: city of heroes / LISTENING: war of the worlds; blade runner
