I was just reading about this. Na-No-Blog-Mo: National Novels Blogging Month. You have to blog every day, to reach 50,000 words, and create a novel in a month! Sounds like an interesting idea. Although I never have time for anything. But wouldn't that be cool? And perhaps a way for me to get a novel out of my head and into a readable form. I'd need an idea though. Or maybe not. Sometimes it's fun to start something and have no idea where it's heading. Although some idea is needed to start. If you know what I mean.

I suppose someone could give me something to start with and I could work from there. Heheh. I don't know how many people still check here for updates, what with me rarely blogging.

I did have an idea a while back, quite a geeky sci-fi one. I suppose it would work well on a blog, since blogging's pretty geeky. Bit more mainstream now than I when I started, though.

Not much has happened to me that's exciting, apart from I left my phone on a bus and someone took it and used the credit. Thankfully it was just pay as you go. I cancelled the SIM when I got home, and was sent a new one very quickly. And I ordered a new phone to go with it. Bit stupid otherwise. It's a cool phone, the Nokia 3200. It comes with a paper cutter so you can make your own covers. And it's an impressive cutter. It has a camera, a built in torch, and lots of other functions. And it was pretty cheap, which was a big factor. I like it, and the weird keys aren't nearly as annoying as I thought they might be.

Anyway, maybe I'll do something else now, instead of blogging. I'm off ill today, with some odd hot/cold temperature thing. Odd.

Well, I should probably just blog. I keep thinking I should write about the wedding, but it was a month ago, and do you really care? I mean, it's even possible you were there, in which case you know what it was like. You can tell it wasn't normal from the fact I arrived in a Subaru Impreza (done up in WRC paint), had a dark red velvet medieval dress, and Rob had a highwayman-esque outfit, I walked in to Madness and out to The Darkness (played by the brilliant rock outfit that's made up of Emmaus people), we left in an ancient Scammell truck, and had a pirate themed wedding reception at the Museum of Power! It was very odd, and very fun. Ali was a great best person - she did her speech from inside a lego pirate man outfit and it still brought me close to tears. And Mark wasn't a bad usher, either. :)

We went to a very traditional and scary wedding yesterday. I had to play bass guitar. I got a bottle of wine for doing it, though I don't actually drink wine... oh well.

In the month that's passed since the wedding, we've moved me into the flat, and started to try and figure out how to live together. The flat's pretty full of stuff, but we did get everything in without it looking too crammed. Which is good.

Apart from Rob related things, I'm still doing the planning archaeology job. Don't know how long for, I had a contract extension but it's all very uncertain. I hate uncertainty.

That's all I can think of for now then. I will try and blog more often.
