Been a while since I last posted, hmmm, what's happened...
Well Rob and I have been married for a whole two years. Wow... Can't really remember what it was like before I was married. Don't know what I'd do without him really. ;)
I've been dieting for about 4 months now and I've lost about 1 stone. Not bad, though I still need to lose more. It would be nice to be my ideal weight for a change! And it's not a horrible diet, just eating less calories/carbohydrates/fat, generally being sensible. I can stil eat pretty much everything I like eating, though low fat cheese is not all that pleasant. Worth it though. I'm pretty amazed it's gone as well as it has.
I've made a web page at work for one of the things I'm responsible for there. To make a web page you have to use the slightly odd content management system. It doesn't seem as easy to use as it could be. A very different kettle of fish from making my own pages in notepad. :)
The page is here:
The Leicestershire & Rutland Historic Environment Record, if you're interested.
I'm hoping to go and see my family soon in Essex. John has an operation on his sinuses soon that's not going to be particularly pleasant, and it's only a week and a bit before his birthday! So we have to cheer him up. I'm currently looking through pages and pages of gubbins at ebay and play.com to try and find him nice things. It's so hard. *sigh*
Still playing WoW a fair bit. I've managed to get my warrior Magenta up to level 47. And she's an armoursmith, which took a bit of doing. Kara (my rogue) has been level 60 for ages though she has recently gained some nice special blue clothes that make her more powerful. The trouble with getting to the end of the game is all the things require large groups of people to do... bit annoying when you're quite often playing by yourself. Or only have three other friends who play. Oh well.
Hullabaloo, the kids club we do, seems to be going well. We had a fun day at
Watermead Country Park, with a bouncy castle and everything. The weather was sunny and warm, there was lots of bouncing, and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. Hooray!
That's probably about it for now. Bye!
