Since I last posted, well, obvious things have happened like the London bombings. There weren't obvious signs of security escalation here in Leicester - I did see two policemen but that was about it. And a security guy at the bus station who was standing around chatting to the guy in the kiosk, but he wasn't paying attention to anything going on around him, so...

My brother John came to visit at the weekend. Hopefully he enjoyed himself, it was all a bit hectic really. I didn't get a lot of time alone with him. I'm hoping when Rob and I have bought our house things it'll be easier to spend time with my family (not that I'm not eternally grateful to Ali for putting up random members of my family).

The weather's a little cooler, which is nice, and things aren't going too badly. It would be good if I could stop feeling a bit ill, but apparently I'm not the only one who's a bit under the weather all the time. Mum says it's being married. ;)

We've all been playing Lego Star Wars on the PS2, which is great fun! I never would have thought it. Hooray!

I'm trying to think of things I want for my birthday, although there's not a lot of point putting them on here since I don't have that many online friends any more. Somehow I've drifted away from it all. I do spend more time with friends in real life, which may be healthier, but still...

So, my birthday, which is less than a month away (oh how exciting). Let me see.
