Drat, I haven't blogged for over a month!

Hello, it's me, I'm ill... again. I never used to be ill. I think it's just a bad cold, but it's gross and makes me feel rubbish.

My Dad's in hospital. He had chest pains and pains in his arm so he went to see the doctor, then he went to hospital in an ambulance. Mum doesn't give the impression it's anything too serious, but they don't want to send him home until he's had one of those tests where you're on a treadmill. I wish I didn't live so far away. :(

We still haven't had all our insurance things back after the burglary. We have had some though, and the stuff's been good, so... that's nice.

In other news, I've had my contract extended until the end of September. There's been talk of another extension already, which is probably a good sign. My boss'll be off work soon since his wife's having a baby. Aaah.

I went and voted yesterday, Lib Dem, though the MP didn't retain his seat from the by-election. If that's how you type that. Hmm. Bit annoying that he's been taken over by a Labour guy (boo). I don't think I had any bits of paper from the Labour guy. Definitely didn't from the Tories. The Lib Dems send us lots of stuff. I like them anyway. I think I have this weird thing where if Labour and the Conservatives have been in power recently and haven't been great, someone else should have a go instead. :)

Besides, Michael Howard, the leader of the Tories, is inexplicably suspicious, and Tony Blair is untrustworthy and... pauses... too much... between words. ;)

Odd, the BBC's election coverage is ending and seems to have odd 70's synthesised music over the titles. Ah, it's Rick Wakeman, that kind of explains it.

I quite like dramatic 70's music. I mean, War of the Worlds is fantastic. I think there should be a band to recreate that sort of thing. I would start one if I had any talent. :)

Hmmmmm, what else can I ramble about? Can't think really.

Stargate Atlantis IS great. Hooray, James likes it too.

I'll be off now.

I have been mostly.... READING: darwin's radio (greg bear); darwin's children (greg bear) / WATCHING: neighbours (bbc 1) / LISTENING: kasabian; phatfish; terrorvision / PLAYING: world of warcraft
